Best Seller Books on Relationships

In the self-help section at your favorite bookstore, you will find many books on relationships. Your most recent relationship has ended and you want some advice on where to go next or what to do about the broken heart left behind. The question you face is which book is the best one for you and your circumstances.

I have been the one standing at the bookshelf trying to decide which author is the most credible, so I understand some of your dilemma. Let us see if I can help you discover how to choose the book that is right for you.

Many of the books you see on the shelf were written by individuals with a great deal of education, but very little first hand experience. Textbook knowledge is great and it works in many areas of our lives. But, on matters of the heart, experience speaks louder than education.

Do not be smitten with authors with enough letters following their name to make alphabet soup. Instead, look for one who writes about how he has helped others restore a relationship. Look inside the book, read the table of contents. See if the author devotes a chapter to the situation you are in.

Avoid those books that give cut-and-dried information like do this for a specific period of time and a something wonderful will happen, like your ex will come back to you. Common sense tells you that may, or may not happen. That author is looking for a way into your wallet.

You have already talked with your friends and they have given you their take on what to do. For some reason their advice did not seem to be a solution for you, which led you to seek help from the bookstore. You want to look for a book that sheds new light on your situation. You want new information, something that will connect with you.

You have taken an inventory of the relationship and the things that caused its failure and brought this awful pain you have in your heart. You have a good idea where you must make corrections in your life. That is the answer you are looking for from the book. Be sure the author addresses your specific need, and that he gives you a guide for meeting that need.

Once you think you have found the special book, take a look at what those who have read the book say about the quality of help they received. If the comments on the book are written by others whose lives have been changed, it is a good choice.

The best recommendations are those that come from a lot of people from different lifestyles. If the book does not speak to people from other walks of life, even other parts of the country or world, be a little careful. If, on the other hand, it seems to cover the map so-to-speak, it just might be the book you are searching for.

Approach the self help section with caution because many of the books on the shelf are written by people who can string words together really well. The books may be long on style and short on help. Too few of the books were written by persons who have experienced the pain of a broken relationship.

Do not misunderstand. The bookstore is a great place to look for resources. But you do need to be careful and make sure the book you select addresses the issues you need help with.

Best Seller Books on Relationships May Make a Fool of You - Find Out Why

If you recently broke with your soul mate, you may be in the market looking for books on relationships. But how to tell which the best are between so many titles out there?

In this article we will see which features you should be taking in count when searching for the best books on relationships. And the answer may really surprise you, so keep reading on...

First of all you shouldn't commit the mistake many people do which is to rely on those fancy letters after the author's name. There are several relationship experts that only know what they had learned from books and their degrees.

But they did not had lived that experience to tell what the best way to act his. They only have "expert knowledge" and know theories which are kind of hard to put to practice because they don't know how to explain the precise steps to take to achieve the desired results.

It's better to look for books written by authors who actually did pass through those situations and can tell you how they managed to do it and how you can do it too. Normally, they managed to fix their own bad relationship problem and they have helped hundreds of couples to do the same. This kind of author is the one who cares if he can help others, because he can prove that his method works continuously and for everyone who ever applies it.

You should try to find the new info, the one that even your friends can't help you find when you talk with them. Certainly you don't want to lose your time reading books that just explain "how to put your relationship on second plan for one month and work on you during this period" because lots of e-Books on market just turn a single concept into a full book of 60 pages and this don't deserve your attention neither your money.

Would it be better if a book could tell you what women desire the most? And that would give you a step by step guide for how to give it to her? Could the correct book show you how to recover from an affair? Will it give you techniques to relieve your pain and teach you how to achieve your goals?

At last, you should check who is recommending the book. Are the testimonials a little empty? Do they look like they were written by the author's wife or brother?

You want a book that is recommend by a large variety of people, who went through different situations, in all walks of life. If a guy from Germany and a recently engaged woman from Florida have used the book, well I guess that the chances are that it will work for you too.

Why the Best Selling Books on Relationships May Not Be the Best Choice For You

For many people, the smartest thing to do if it breaks with an ex and want to know what your options are for them again - you are looking for books on relations with the East. But if you go to the library or look on the Internet. How do you know exactly which book is best for you?

Well, do not worry, because I tell you how to choose the best links to articles in books on this. And you know what? They areto be so surprised what you find!

The first thing you shouldn't do is look for all those fancy letters after the author of the book's name. It just means the author went to school for a long time and learned how to talk like an academic instructor. In fact, if you ever been to college, you would find that most professors are somewhat bookish and lacking in the humanity department. So it isn't too surprising to find out that they probably don't know any more than you how to engage with people!

And so they get a lot of letters after their name when they turn 35 and use their advanced degrees as "proof" that they know their stuff about a situation. The question you should be asking is this, do their expertise work in the real world?

I would think if you looked for the books on relationships by authors who have successfully dealt with people on a daily basis would be the way to go. For instance, I would rather learn from an author who was in a bad relationship and put themselves back together or even help many other friends and buddies fix their relationships... rather than somebody that learned all he knows from the dusty libraries. Also, I would want to hear from the author who helped those they really care about instead of a bunch 50 minute therapy patients.

The second thing you should keep in mind is this when looking for a relationship book. You don't want one of those relationship books that tells you to set everything aside for 30 days and work on yourself during that time. That's ridiculous! And you know what? From all the books that I've read in the bookstores and libraries tell you this! And most of the ebooks that you find on the Internet about the subject of how to get your ex back is just 50 some pages of pure fluff. In my opinion, most relationship books are not worth your time and money.

What I think you should do instead is look for the books that give you new information about real world advice. Information that you wouldn't get from someone like your friends.

These are the questions you should be asking about the relationship books. For instance, does the book tell you what women desire from a relationship more than anything else in the world? Will this book give you step-by-simple-steps how to give her the relationship she wants. Does the book show you exactly how to recover from an affair? How about specific methods to stop the pain of your breakups?

The next thing you should do is take a close look at who is recommending the book. Who is writing the testimonials? Are they other authors? Other academicians? The author's mom? Do the testimonials seem a little faked?

This is what you need to do to tell if the quality of the relationship book is worth your money and time. You need to determine whether it was recommended by a wide, wide variety of everyday folks just like you who used the book successfully. And when I say wide I mean if you see recommendations from a woman from England or a newly engaged guy from Illinois who have read and used the concepts from the book - then chances are good that the book will work for you.

To sum it up, there are lots of relationship books on the market today. In my opinion, too many of them. And unfortunately, most of them are pure garbage because they weren't written by a person that worked in the trenches so to speak. As a result, you have all these relationship books that are just generic tripe that basically could be summarized in a short paragraph or two. Those books have nothing going for them.

So finding the best books on relationships may take a little extra work for you, if you want your relationship to work, then that would be very important and worthwhile to do. If you are like me, you would want to get the very best book out there to work for you. Right?

Find Out the Truth on Why the Best Seller Books on Relationships May Make a Fool of You

If you have just broken up with your girlfriend or boyfriend, there is a high chance that you will be at the marketplace looking for books on relationships. But how to you choose the best books on relationships with so many different kinds out there?

In this article, I will show you the way to select the best books on relationships. And I can assure you that the answer will surprise you greatly. Simple read on...

The first thing when you are trying to buy the best books on relationships is that you must never be fooled by fancy letters after the author's name. There are numerous people out there who are trying to go into the 'school' or 'books' industry simply because they want an escape from real life. Instead of engaging and providing true information with people, they use their time hiding in the classroom or library. Consequently, these self-acclaimed authors will end up with many letters after their names in their books. They try to portray themselves an an expert in their field in order to come out with such low-quality books. You have to ask yourself truly on "Does their expertise really work in this real world?"

My personal advice is that you should look for relationship books by authors who have been in the same mess as you before. These are authors who have gone through what you have gone through and they have brace themselves up to help themselves before they can help you. These are not just the normal authors who simply just write a book on relationships just because they feel like. The true author in the niche of relationships are actually those who have experienced the process of relationships. Therefore, these are the authors that you should approach if you really want to know how to reconcile a relationship as the authors really care about helping you sincerely.

Next, you should simply ignore those books that do not go straight into the truth about relationships. There are books which keep telling you about "take a period of rest" or "go enjoy yourself during this period of separation with your ex". What all these books really do is turn this obvious concept into 50 page documents and make you think that you have just bought a beneficial book. In fact, the information in these books are just pieces of fluff and do not deserve your attention or even your money.

Instead, you should find a book that will disclose to you about some proven step by step plans and information which your friends cannot give you. These are books that will tell you on how to get your ex back that you and your friend will never even think of.

Ask yourself these question when you are choosing the best relationship books, "Will the book tell me about what women or men really wants in a relationship?" "Will it give me a proven step by step plan on how to maintain a relationship?" "Will the book show me the way to recover from a broken relationship?" and "Will it give me specific techniques to win back my true love?"

Last but not least, another advice that you should really bear in mind when looking for a relationship book is to, look at who is recommending the book. Make an effort to read through the testimonials given to the book. Are they genuine testimonials speaking from the bottom of the hearts? Or were these testimonials simply written by the author's sister or cousin?

It is important that you find books on relationships that have been recommended by a wide variety of men and women, in different situations, and from all walks of life. For example, if the book is being recommended by a guy from Switzerland and another lady from Singapore, then chances are the informations and techniques taught in it will work for you as many people around the world have recommended it.

There are simply too many books on relationships on the market written by ordinary authors who have never been through a break up or worse still, never been through a relationship in their life! As a result, the informations and techniques taught in the book will be very generic advice that even your 12-year-old cousin can advice you on. In addition, these advices taught in such books can actually be summed up in a paragraph or two. You really need to look for alternatives if you happen to come across such books.

Finding the best books on relationships is not a simple task. In fact, you must make an effort to find the best relationship books if you are serious in getting back with your ex. My bottom conclusion is that, to learn how to win back your ex, you must invest in your time and money to find books that are written by true authors with true experiences in the relationship field. Now that you have my advices, you should take action to find the best books on relationships that will not make a fool of you.

Best Seller Books on Relationships - Do They Actually Tell You the Truth?

One of the first things we do when we break up is to get some books about relationships. Now, the question is how do you know which ones are the best ones? With so many different books available all of them offering different advice, it is often very confusing.

This article will provide you with some useful tips on how to pick the best books about relationships.

The Author's Name Does not Matter

First thing to consider when trying to get a good book on relationships is not to pay too much attention to the initials that an author's name may have at the end of his or her name. Although these initials will give you an idea of all the studies this person has, it is not an indicative of the expertise in these matters they may have.

The best thing to do is to go for a book written by an author who knows all about these things "first hand". This means that either they have been through these sorts of problems and have overcome all the difficulties or they have helped lots of people to do it.

What you want to read are books that don't have the typical advice of putting your relationship aside for a month and during that month focus on working on yourself. You will be amazed to see that many of the books and eBooks that can be found in the market make this concept their main theme. Honestly, they are not worth spending your time and money on them.

What to Look for in Relationship Books

Look for books that can offer you more and new information, some advice and tips your close friends have not given you yet or simply can't give you.

You may find yourself in need of advice on how to recover from an affair or how to get relief from the pain a break up causes. Friends or relatives may not be able to provide you with advice for these situations, but if you find a book or eBook that can, then you have found a good one.

The recommendations you may find about a book are certainly a good way of knowing if it is worth buying and reading it. So look at who recommend the book you have found. Read the testimonials and see if they are specific or generic. If books are recommended by a whole variety of people, then that means that it has been read by people from different backgrounds, cities and situations. This book then may help you as well.

You can find lots of books about relationships on the market and eBooks on Internet, but unfortunately most of them have been written by people who have not gone through the experience, so their advice would be very generic and simple. Remember, you are looking for more than that in a book.

To find the best books available on the market that talk about relationships is something that will need some work from your part. But in the end, your efforts will be rewarded, as you will be able to get the best book for your money.
